When we began homeschooling our oldest two daughters in 1993, we had no idea that homeschooling would become such an important part of our lives. When our children reached high school, I didn’t look forward to dissecting frogs in my kitchen, but I knew there were others who could make that exciting and fun.  I wanted my children to love learning and to have instructors who would make learning contagious while preparing our children for college.  I knew other moms probably felt the same way. I started the Heritage Christian Academy tutorial program as a means to provide homeschooling students with an opportunity to receive classroom instruction in their junior high and high school courses. My third daughter also enjoyed the class instruction, projects, activities and parties that the co-op provided until she was old enough for the tutorial.

Our school has grown to include the tutorial program for grades 7-12, the co-op program for grades K-6, and the church-related school program for all homeschooling families.
